Unlock and Start Your Volvo or Polestar EV with Your Samsung Galaxy Phone
Samsung’s Digital Key technology now works with Volvo and Polestar EVs, allowing you to unlock and start your electric vehicle with your Samsung Galaxy phone.
The service is available for the Volvo EX90 and Polestar 3 SUVs starting this month in North America, Europe, and Asia.
To use the Digital Key feature, you’ll need:
- A compatible Samsung Galaxy phone (Galaxy S21 or newer)
- The Samsung Digital Key app
- A compatible Volvo or Polestar EV
Once you have everything set up, you can use the Digital Key app to unlock your vehicle by holding your phone near the driver’s door handle.
You can also start your vehicle by placing your phone on the wireless charging pad in the center console.
The Digital Key feature is a convenient and secure way to access your Volvo or Polestar EV. It’s also a great way to keep your keys safe and organized.
